Yuletide traditions continue at the Allan Gardens and Centennial Park Christmas flower shows

TORONTO - A long-standing tradition marking the start of the holiday season, the annual Allan Gardens and Centennial Park Christmas flower shows are now on.

Both shows opened on Sunday, December 6, 2015 and will run daily until January 10, 2016.

The flower shows are open daily from 10 am to 5 pm, with extended hours on select weekends. About 40 different types of poinsettias are on display, with many new varieties this year.

The two conservatories will extend hours until 7 pm so visitors can enjoy the floral displays by the glow of candlelight on the following dates:

  • Allan Gardens - December 12, 13, 19, 20, 26 and 27
  • Centennial Park - December 19, 20, 26 and 27

Admission to the conservatories is free, but donations to the food bank are welcome.
