Suspect sought following attempted bank robbery in Pickering, Kingston Road/Liverpool Road

Investigators are looking for a male suspect following an attempt robbery at the BMO Bank of Montreal in Pickering.

On Friday March 18, 2016, at approximately 3:30 p.m. officers were called to the BMO Bank of Montreal at Kingston Road and Liverpool Road in Pickering. A male suspect entered the bank, jumped over the counter and demanded cash. He fled the bank empty handed eastbound toward a waiting pickup truck. No one was physically hurt during the incident.

The suspect is described as male, black, about 6’ tall with a thin build. His face was covered and he was wearing a red black and green sweater and black pants. The truck is described as white, four-door, full sized pickup truck with a ladder on the roof.
